Stonyhurst College in the UK is the oldest and the most prestigious Catholic

Boarding school in the UK. First founded by the Jesuits in 1593, the College has

been at its current location since 1794. In Sept 2022, this institution opened their very first International sister Catholic school of Ignatian spirituality - Stonyhurst International School - in Seri Tanjong Penang. Within its first year, this school already has almost 400 students from all over the world, including 150 Malaysian boys and girls who are keen to be educated in a values based academic environment founded on Ignatian Values and drawing the best of a vigorous and dynamic international education.

With the blessing of Bishop Sebastian, Stonyhurst Penang is holding a public forum entitled "The Revival of Catholic Education in Malaysia" and would like to invite all Catholics to appreciate how a Catholic education in Stonyhurst Penang will make a significant impact on their children's lives. The forum will be held in the Auditorium of the school's campus (located between Lotus's Tanjong Tokong and Straits Quay) on Saturday 1st of April, from 10am to 12pm. This event is free and all are welcome. All those interested are encouraged to scan the QR Code shown here to register for the event and reserve your places for the forum. Families are encouraged to bring their children as there will be activities organised for them during the forum. There will be refreshments after the forum and a school tour. If you remember your school days at a Catholic school fondly and wonder why things are so different now, and what can be done about it, or if you want to know more about what a Catholic education can do for your own children, register for this event and visit Stonyhurst Penang on the 1st of April.
